Integrated Fiber Optics DTS and Pressure Surveys

Petrospec Engineering integrates HydroLight™ DTS cable and point pressure sensors in a retrievable, coiled-tubing instrumentation string to preform temperature/pressure surveys.  The fiber optic DTS provides real-time, full wellbore temperature profile along with point pressure at the toe (heel optional).  Data is recorded over the survey period- typically 24 hours, and delivered in Well-Viz, graphical user interface software for easy visualization and analysis of survey data.  Our unique ability to perform surveys in “live well” conditions allows tracking temperature/pressure changes over static and flowing well conditions.  This can provide insight into well response to surface operations, and has proven invaluable as a diagnostic tool as well as for optimizing production and injection profiles.
